MBI Construction
Is a family owned business that celebrated its 40th year in business in 2011. MBI Construction has completed projects in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri.
MBI has its own crews with trained and certified truck drivers, concrete finishers, operators and laborers. When available they work with local labor, suppliers and subcontractors.
Past Projects
Include concrete work at Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Rural King, Cargill, ADM, Consolidated Grain and Barge, Kraft Foods, Sherwin-Williams, R.R. Donnelly, Thyssen & Krump, Molinero, Maschhoffs, Agripride, Pilot, city streets, subdivisions, parking lots, shopping malls, apartments, schools, municipal structures and buildings, and numerous other factories, stores, and grain handling facilities. Other projects and photos can be viewed under Projects. MBI has excavating equipment to handle most of the dirt work on their projects.
In 2004 portable concrete plant production was added for those jobs that are in remote areas or demand production from a dedicated plant. MBI has both transit mix and central mix plants. MBI can furnish their own trucks and equipment or work with the local ready mix supplier. Arrangements have been made with a lease only, lease and train, furnish plant operator or even furnish part of the concrete trucks, structuring the agreement to the specific customer requirements.
